Putting Bromley's Streets First
Veolia’s street cleansing teams work hard to ensure Bromley’s streets are free of litter. This is achieved through a combination of manual sweeping and mechanical sweeping vehicles. Bromley’s pavements are swept at least every other week, and roads at least once a month.
As London’s greenest borough, Bromley is also home to over 200 different species of trees, From October to December, Veolia’s street cleansing teams work to adjust schedules to reflect seasonal patterns.
During periods of heavy snowfall, Veolia treats roughly 280 miles of main road in Bromley to ensure safety and minimise traffic delays.
